Week 4 Prompts

Greetings!
Here are the prompts for the 4th week of the ‘new’ Matinée Muse.
They are offered to inspire your creativity.

Perhaps you will write a poem, or a short story?
Maybe you’ll create a related artwork, or a photograph?

However you express yourself creatively, please create that expression, post it to your site, and link it here.

This week’s first Matinée Muse creativity prompt is:

“beyond your wildest dreams”

Inspired by the current film, ‘The Perfect Game’.

• • •

This week’s second Matinée Muse creativity prompt is:

“delusions of grandeur”

Inspired by the classic 1962 film, ‘Lawrence of Arabia’.

Please share with us your poem, short story, artwork, photograph — or whatever you’ve been inspired to create.

Express yourself!

NOTE: to learn more about the film, click on its poster

  1. Only one – for now. It’s the second prompt – Delusions of grandeur.

  2. You’ll find mine in this post:

TONY ON OLYMPICS, DESPOTS & MORE

    Enjoy.

  3. This is a couple years old but it popped into my head when I read the prompt.

    A Voice

  4. Beyond Your Wildest Dreams fits the character of Springer. Of the four posts I’ve written so far, <a href=”http://westofmars.blogspot.com/2008/07/springer-fiction-encountering-eric.html”this one fits the best, I think.

  5. Something ate the HTML code for the link to Springer, so here it is
    corrected:

    Encountering Eric

  6. ~Kathryn~ Says:

Matinee Muse – beyond your wildest dreams

    beyond my wildest dreams …..

  7. ~Kathryn~ Says:

    and the second

    delusions of grandure

Matinee Muse – delusions of grandeur

  8. This is my response to Delusions of Grandeur.

    Grandeur is a Hunger

Thank you for providing all these great prompts!

  9. nickersandink Says:

    Delusions of grandeur? Perhaps not.

    You be the judge.

Maybe Lawrence of Arabia’s wrap would have helped.

DON’T SMILE AT ME THAT WAY, at NICKERS AND INK
