Week 2 Prompts
Greetings!
Here are the prompts for the 2nd week of the ‘new’ Matinée Muse.
They are offered to inspire your creativity.
Perhaps you will write a poem, or a short story?
Maybe you’ll create a related artwork, or a photograph?
However you express yourself creatively, please create that expression, post it to your site, and link it here.
• • •
This week’s first Matinée Muse creativity prompt is:
“what if…”
Inspired by the current film, ‘X-Files: I Want To Believe’.
• • •
This week’s second Matinée Muse creativity prompt is:
“things are not always as they appear”
Inspired by the classic 1974 film, ‘Chinatown’.
• • •
Please share with us your poem, short story, artwork, photograph — or whatever you’ve been inspired to create.
Express yourself!
NOTE: to learn more about the film, click on its poster

I also used ‘What If’. It adds a bit more mystery to the piece I wrote for MM last week.

My Gray Matters was actually inspired by the getting older prompt over at Mercedes Rocks.
But in an odd, sort of inverse way, it also fits your “things are not always as they appear.”
